Modeling Guide

Three main steps are needed in order to model and generate specific documents and visualizations of a system:

• Project Definition:
  • In this step, the product is seen as a black box, the goal is to create the interfaces between the customer, the product and the environment, and to identify macro activities realized by the product.
• System analysis:
  • In this step, the Product is seen as a white box and is split into different services, containing different functions.
  • Macro activities are explained using the functions.
• Visualization:
  • In this step, input and outputs of the system are translated from/to the server that will connect to the Virtual Bench (https:).
  • Input and output can be added only for visualization purpose (ex: initial speed of the vehicle), and won't be generated within the specifying documents.
