How to reuse a documentation template?

Starting point 

A documentation template is available in a model. You would reuse it in another but it is not available in the standard architecture you’re using.

How to proceed

Extract the template from an existing model

As *.pdst file

1. Open the documentation template in the model

2. Create a document Prototype From Document template

3. Fill the fields of the dialog

4. You obtain the file *.pdst containing your newly created prototype

Reuse a prototype in a model

1. Copy the wanted template in your project folder

2. Create a new empty document in the target model

You get a new document template

3. Open the pdst file of the model with the specific editor

4. Find your new document

5. Right click on the editor > Load Resources
6. Find the template to use with Browse Workspace

7. Click OK
8. Copy – Paste the elements from the loaded resource to the document template you want to edit

9. Save and close this file
10. Go back in your document template and you’ll have access to your new template
